At the end of August and early October 2008, I went to the headquarters which are located in MI to get training, it was very late when I arrived at Grand Rapids after a long waiting transfer in Chicago airport and our HRD picked me up at Grand Rapids’ airport and sent me to hotel. The 2nd day, HRD arranged me to attend the Arbinger Training which is helping you to find the box which is bonding you to be an excellent employee and how to be out of the box and it is essential to read the Leadership and self-deception—out of box at least once before the training
同年9月底10月初,總部安排了筆者去密西根的培訓(xùn),當時在芝加哥轉(zhuǎn)機到大激流城機場已經(jīng)很晚了,人力資源總監(jiān)去機場接的筆者,第二天,人力資源總監(jiān)讓筆者去參加了 Arbinger培訓(xùn),這個培訓(xùn)的主要目的是讓你學(xué)會發(fā)現(xiàn)束縛自己成為一個優(yōu)秀員工的盒子,以及如何跳出那個束縛你的盒子,在參加這個培訓(xùn)之前是將《跳出盒子-領(lǐng)導(dǎo)與自欺的管理寓言》 這本書要看一遍.
Due to the time difference and lack of sleeping, I was very tired during the training and it had been for all day, we actually even just had the lunch in the training room. Although it was only the entrance level training, some examples that HRD given did shock me significantly, especially the one narrated the confliction between him and his manager and what he did and what he thought which is the same as mine, namely, not caring about what the Managers do and letting him make mistake and laughing at him after his mistakes. He shared what kind of box he was in when he was doing so and the detrimental effects to the relationship between him and his manager. All what he taught made me thought that whether I was in the box in regarding to the confliction between my GM and myself. I was pretty sure I was in a big box after several times communication with our HRD. I also tried to analyze my box in regarding to dealing with my GM according to our HRD Craig’s instruction and I found my box finally. At the outset, I felt th
